Everything was wonderful during 1 day, liked its stunning and wonderful location close enough to retro kiwi beach and main stream and the exposed reef near the lagoon. The efficient staff made it a pleasurable place to stay. Was a nice comfy base for weekend.

We stayed at Holiday Park & Motels in Castlepoint and were pleasantly surprised by our experience. The view of the lighthouse was absolutely spectacular, just as we had hoped. The motel room itself was clean and tidy, and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed having a balcony with a beach and lighthouse view. The location was central and convenient, with the beach, general store, and walking track to the lighthouse all within close proximity. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the cozy feel of the motel room. it was a lovely stay.
There was nothing I didn't like. 🌟

There were central heating, a microwave oven, and a refrigerator in the room, truly enjoyed that. Shared bathroom was clean. Location: the hotel was so close to Christmas bay, really picturesque and the beach and the next sites: D

My two-night stay at the Castlepoint Holiday Park & Motels was fantastic. The Park Motel Unit I stayed in had stunning beach views and was well-equipped with everything I needed. The double bed in the main room was incredibly comfortable. Despite the campers, it was surprisingly serene and quiet. While the morning sun deck was a bit windy for evening relaxation, the overall ambiance of the place was great. The 50c shower had excellent water pressure and was hot, and the staff at the Whakataki Hotel were welcoming and accommodating. I had an amazing weekend getaway and I highly recommend this holiday park and motel.

We had a great family vacation at a well-run and affordable campsite near the sea. The bathrooms and kitchens were clean, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The stunning location offers beautiful walks and amazing beaches. Facilities include plastic garden chairs, a bit of grass, camping table, and a chilly bin that made a good side table.
The shop nearby closes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and there aren't any other shops in the area, which can be inconvenient for visitors.

I loved this place! The location right on the beach was amazing. Waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sunrise was breathtaking. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, always making sure we were comfortable. The room was well-equipped with everything we needed, from ironing facilities to a washing machine. The patio was a nice touch, perfect for enjoying a meal or just relaxing. And the flat-screen TV made it even better!
I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. It's the perfect spot for a weekend getaway by the beach.

This beachfront campsite provided a perfect Easter weekend getaway. The breathtaking views of the ocean ensured our stay was tranquil and not to be missed. Access to the beach was easy and the staff were incredibly friendly and approachable. The amenities were well-maintained, with a clean bathroom and kitchen area. the fact that we were able to set up camp so close to the water made it feel like we had a slice of paradise all to ourselves.
The water temperature for showers was unpredictable, and the fact that it was coin-operated caused some frustration. It took a while to adjust the temperature correctly and for the hot water to kick in, but once it did it didn’t last long.
